Ronald McDonald House Donation Drive

April 8-9 Schedules

Donations for the following disposable items will be accepted at each of the tournament locations:

  • Bowls (greatest need)
  • Cups (greatest need)
  • Plates
  • Paper Towels

We are pleased to announce that the MYAS, McDonald’s Owner-Operators of the Twin Cities and our friends at the Ronald McDonald House Charities, Upper Midwest (RMHC-UM) will be working together again this year.  During the weekend of April 8th-9th, a portion from each team’s entry fee to the MYAS basketball tournament will be donated to Ronald McDonald House Charities. In addition, while your team's entry fee will directly support RMHC, your team can also participate in the poptab program - a fun activity for all ages - by dropping off any poptabs you may have collected, and/or picking up poptab houses for future collections.

Also, to help elevate the charitable aspect of the tournament, each host site will serve as a drop site for specific items. See the list below.  Every donated item will allow RMHC to provide more programs and services to families - especially at the three hospital sites, where, for example, donated paper plates enable family members to quickly return to their child’s hospital room with a hot meal.  We would appreciate you spreading the word about this collection effort —consider telling your family, friends, co-workers, faith groups and schools. Thank you in advance for your support!
