This summer the Minnesota Youth Athletic Services will introduce its version of what 'basketball preparation training' should look like - Each session is capped so that we maximize our time with each participant and minimize the opportunity for stagnant, stand around time. Our progressive basketball curriculum will challenge each athlete's mental and physical capacities by combining high-level performance training based on sports science of functional movement with fundamental basketball drills and exercises.

In addition to the individual development, each athlete will engage in basketball team development drills that will increase their ability to be a confident player in competitive game situations.  In order to get the most out of each session, a portion of the morning will be spent in a classroom setting developing each athlete’s social and leadership skills.  The focus will be on mental training and the preparation required to be an elite level processor of information.
