MWT 2017-18 Tour Recap

Midwest Wrestling Tour Events – Season in Review
The Midwest Wrestling Tour (MWT) encompassed the Gopher State Nationals, the Badgerland Nationals, Hawkeye Nationals and the Buffalo Nationals. The MWT showcased the phenomenal youth wrestling that the Upper Midwest has to offer. Highlighting the Tour is the prized MWT Belt, which will be presented to wrestlers who place 1st-4th at 3 of the 4 MWT events. 
 
The 2017-18 season of the Midwest Wrestling Tour (MWT) has come to an end. Listed below are some highlights from the past season.

  • Cliff Keen came on board as the title sponsor of the MWT.
  • JRobinson Wrestling Camps became the official camp sponsor of the MWT.
  • We created the MWT rankings.
  • All podium pictures can be found on the MWT Facebook page.
  • Wrestlers from 23 different states competed in the 2017-18 MWT events.
  • A total of 143 wrestlers earned the coveted MWT Belt.
  • A total of 252 fight shorts were awarded to the champions at all four of the MWT events.
  • Every match at each of the MWT events were streamed live via Trackcast.
  • The Badgerland Nationals was featured on a local television newscast in La Crosse, WI.
  • The legendary Dan Gable signed autographs at the Hawkeye Nationals.
