The Midwest Wrestling Tour (MWT) is a wrestling circuit comprised of the renowned Gopher State Nationals, Badgerland Nationals, Hawkeye Nationals and the latest addition, the Buffalo Nationals.

Wrestlers placing 1st-6th are awarded custom event-specific medals at each of the events.  

Wrestlers placing 1st-4th in three of the four MWT events will earn the coveted MWT belt.

The MWT events are open to wrestlers from all states in grades K-8.

Hawkeye Nationals

December 3-4, 2016
Young Arena - Waterloo, IA

  • Over 700 wrestlers registered in 2015-16

Badgerland Nationals

January 7-8, 2017
UW-La Crosse - La Crosse, WI

  • Fourth year of the Badgerland Nationals in La Crosse
  • Over 700 wrestlers registered in 2015-16
  • 10 States represented (MN, IA, WI, IN, IL, KS, MO, NE, ND, SD,)

Gopher State Nationals

February 11-12, 2017
Monticello High School - Monticello, MN

  • Sixth year of the Gopher Nationals in Monticello
  • Over 1,100 wrestlers registered in 2015-16
  • One of the largest youth wrestling tournaments in the Nation.
