MN-WI Border Battles

A Series of Basketball games pits MN youth basketball teams vs WI basketball teams.

The Minnesota Youth Athletic Services (MYAS) has teamed up with the Wisconsin Sports Services (WSS) to provide the first ever Border Battle series that will be held at 4 different locations in Wisconsin this year. The events will play out over four weekends with two each in January and February of 2017. Boys and girls teams with players grades 4-8 can participate in the tournaments.

The Border Battle give teams from Wisconsin and Minnesota a chance to compete against one another when they would not have had the opportunity to play each other in the past. It introduces quality competition from a variety of teams.

With bragging rights on the line, the Border Battle will have an elevated competitive level creating for a quality experience and a chance for players and teams to improve their games. The Border Battle is set to be an annual competition with the desire to expand to multiple cities that crosses over into Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Each team can register for as many tournaments as they wish and the process is set up on the WSS website.
