Trusted Coaches Basketball Association Preseason Team Clinics

Trusted Coaches Basketball Association Preseason Team Clinics This series of clinics will offer a great opportunity for athletes from youth basketball associations throughout the state of Minnesota to prepare for the upcoming 2019-2020 season. Each clinic participant will take part in fundamental basketball drills and athleticism building exercises that will provide a better understanding of the game and improve athletic mobility. Every session will also include a focus on teamwork and chemistry and how each individual player contributes to these qualities in order for the team to be successful.

The clinics are open to male and female athletes entering grades 3-8. Athletes will be broken into groups based on age, playing experience, and/or skill set in order to provide an elite level development experience.

Clinic Details:

  • Boys and girls grades 3-8
  • 40 athletes max per session
  • Athlete to instructor ratio of 8:1
  • Instructors are coaches and trainers from around the metro area
  • All instructors are members of Trusted Coaches (www.trustedcoaches.org) and will have undergone a nationwide criminal background check; concussion instruction; child safety training; first-aid education; and coach character development (Inside Out Coaching).

  • Social Development
  • Competitive Game Play
  • Developing Teamwork and Chemistry
  • Injury Free Athletic Assessment by Fairview Institute for Athletic Medicine

Other Details:

  • Clinic dates – Saturdays, September 7, 14, 21 & 28, 2019
  • Session I – 9:00am-12:00pm (Grades 3-4)
  • Session II – 1:00pm-4:00pm (Grades 5-8)
  • Location - National Sports Center (Blaine)
  • Cost – $35 per athlete per session
