WHO MAKES THE PLAYOFFS? EVERYONE!

Seedings for the GSBL playoffs will be determined based on the league standings and points accumulated as of July 6, 2006 at 12:01am. Any games played or reported after this date will not count toward the playoff standings. Seedings and matchups will be available on our website by mid-afternoon on July 6th. If you feel there is a problem with the playoff matchups and/or seedings, please contact the league office. If you are the head coach, please be available for a phone call from the GSBL/MYAS headquarters on July 7, 2006 between the hours of 11:00am-5:00pm or your playoff game will not be scheduled. All dates, times and locations for the playoff matchups will be available on our website on July 7 by 4:00pm.

Playoffs will begin on July 10 (10A, 10B, 11A, 12A, 13A) or July 11 (11B, 12B, 13B). The top half of the teams in each division (i.e. West, East and Central), based on record and any tie-breaker scenarios, will be placed into a single elimination playoff for the Tier I Championships. For example, if you have 9 teams in your division, 5 teams will be placed into the Tier I Championships. The remaining teams in each division will be placed into a single elimination playoff for the Tier II Championships. Playoff games that have been officially scheduled and communicated will be posted on www.myas.org no later than 4:00pm on July 7.

July 7, 2006 Available playoff dates, times and locations will be posted by 4:00pm.

July 10-13, 2006 GSBL PLAYOFFS AND July 17, 2006 Initial rounds played at higher seed
July 18-20, 2006

10-12 GSBL Tier I & Tier II League Championships will be held at the Northwoods Complex in Brooklyn Park, MN.

13U GSBL Tier I & Tier II League Championships will be held at Ham Lake City Park in Ham Lake, MN.
