Gopher State Baseball League (GSBL)The Gopher State Baseball League is our primary USSSA sanctioned summer traveling baseball league (April-July) for players 9-19 years old at every age and skill level (AAA, AA & A). The GSBL has many unique features, including an all-inclusive league playoff at the end of the season as well as berths given to a designated USSSA World Series and the Gopher State Tournament of Champions. Over the past four years, the league has expanded and currently represents 58 associations/communities in the Twin Cities, western Wisconsin and throughout central Minnesota. Last year 435 teams participated in this league which continues to gain popularity throughout the youth baseball community. |

Gopher State Baseball Spring InvitationalsAre you tired of spending your entire weekend at baseball fields for three-day baseball tournaments? The Gopher State Spring Invitationals(now "2-Day GSTC Qualifiers") are designed so that families can get some of their early season weekend back. |

Gopher State Baseball Training CampsThe MYAS baseball staff is proud to announce the 12th annual Gopher State Winter Baseball Camps. This season we will feature 7 baseball camps, the Gopher State Winter Training Series and the MN Twins Training Academy. Erik Lovdahl and his staff will once again instruct each of our camps at Northwestern College. We will also be partnering with the Minnesota Twins to offer three MN Twins Training Camps and a MN Twins Training Academy located at the National Sports Center in Blaine. We are also launching the Gopher State Winter Training Series at the new Vadnais Heights Sports Center. Individual skill development is emphasized in a station to station training environment. The training series will focus on infield, outfield and hitting along with long toss throwing at every session. |

Gopher State Tournament of ChampionsThe Gopher State Tournament of Champions (GSTC) is a premier event with top traveling teams from Minnesota and the upper Midwest competing in this regional tournament. The GSTC is held in July for all AAA, AA and A traveling teams. Champions of this event receive personalized rings from Jostens with each players name, jersey number and team record. The 2012 edition of the GSTC had by far the largest number of participating teams since its inception in 2005. This past year, 484 teams participated during the three weekends of play. |

Gopher State/USSSA August BashThe Inagural August Bash will bring the top "club" teams and "AAA" teams from the Upper Midwest to Metro Area fields. The tournament will be available for 13U, 14U, 15U, 16U and 18U teams. The August Bash will be sanctioned through USSSA and will attract top Major/AAA teams from Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, South Dakota and North Dakota. |

Gopher State/USSSA Fall Baseball LeagueThe Gopher State Fall Baseball League services youth who want to continue to play baseball after the summer season ends. This program is a multi-level league (Majors, Competitive and Recreational) for players age 9-19. The league, which is sanctioned with USSSA to provide teams insurance and team membership completed its 21st season. It is currently the largest fall league of its kind in Minnesota and the Upper-Midwest. The 2012 season was by far the largest fall baseball league that the MYAS has ever administered with nearly 4,500 participants and 360 teams. |

Minnesota USSSA/Gopher State Midsummer ClassicMinnesota USSSA/Gopher State Midsummer Classic will take place at multiple venues on the weekends in June 2013. This tournament also allows all participating teams to take advantage of the benefits of USSSA baseball. These qualifying tournaments are an excellent way for teams (10-19U AAA & AA as well as 12A, 13A & 14/15A) to advance on to a World Series/National Tournament and earn points through USSSA. The Gopher State Midsummer Classic has also been designated as a "Double Points" tournament towards the premier tournament in the state of Minnesota, the Gopher State Tournament of Champions in July. |

North Star Baseball LeagueThe North Star Baseball League consists of community In-House teams that have interest in mixing their schedules with other surrounding communities. In 2012 87 teams are participating in the North Star League. |

Rec State Baseball ChampionshipsThe Rec State Baseball Championships is designed for "Non-traveling" or Recreational teams only. This one of a kind state tournament is a great chance for teams to play in a big time tournament atmosphere and end their season like champions. Tournament dates and locations are now posted on the Rec State Baseball home page. |

USSSA Global Sports BaseballGlobal Sports will offer multiple World Series Qualifiers in the Midwest and World Series events in July. Global Sports will provide more teams an opportunity to play in a World Series event within a reasonable driving distance. Global Sports World Series will have a 7 game guarantee. Because of the growth of USSSA Baseball, there is a greater demand for events than USSSA can supply. USSSA created this opportunity for teams to stay closer to home and create life long experiences without the long distance travel and additional funds spent. |
