MYAS and Pacesetter to Partner on Youth Tournaments

Pacesetter Sports and MYAS, Minnesota Youth Athletic Services, have agreed to partner on youth tournaments this season.

Pacesetter annually conducts the Minnesota Youth Basketball State Championships in March-April. MYAS annually conducts a number of basketball events leading up to the Grade State championships in early March.

“MYAS is excited to partner with Jeff, Matt and the Pacesetter Sports brand”, said Dawson Blanck, MYAS Executive Director.“Together we boast over 80 years of youth sports experience. Both organizations have been committed to improving the delivery of youth sports services, and we look forward to strengthening that mission, through our new partnership.”

Jeff McCarron, Pacesetter Director, said, “We have decided on three avenues of collaboration so far to better serve youth teams.”

Classic Series
Pacesetter and MYAS are now offering tournaments November- February throughout Minnesota in a new “Classic” series.
Minnesota State Tournaments Pacesetter and MYAS state tournaments will be scheduled so that teams can play in both post-season state championships.

Pacesetter Great Five-State Tournament at Target Center

The champion from both Pacesetter and MYAS state tournaments will qualify for the Pacesetter Great Five- State tournament at the Target Center, featuring top teams from Wisconsin, Iowa, North Dakota and South Dakota.
