Minnesota Youth Basketball Association Leaders & MYBA Member Organizations:

The MYAS staff is excited to announce the next round of Virtual Outreach Sessions, presented by Jimmy John’s. These sessions have been scheduled to take place via Zoom on September 1st  & 2nd  and will serve as our Preseason Winter Basketball Meeting or previously known as our Travel Directors’ Meeting. As the 2020-2021 winter community based basketball season draws closer and closer, we need to ensure that the entire Minnesota Youth Baseball Community is #strongertogether. We know many youth basketball leaders have expressed much concern about the upcoming season due to the unknowns we have at this time. One of our many goals as an organization is to link regional volunteer youth sports programs with others statewide and that is what we intend to do. We are here to provide guidance, support, and assistance to every youth basketball association in the state of Minnesota. At the MYAS, we have proven that with the correct safety precautions and guidelines in place, we are able to administer youth basketball tournaments in a safe way. That is our #1 priority for your youth basketball associations to do the same this winter.  Regardless, we must be prepared to pivot to continue to provide development for our   youth basketball players during these uncertain times.
