Director of Business Development & Strategic Partnerships

Build Relationships. Make an Impact.

MYAS is looking for a driven, relationship-first sales professional to join our mission-driven team. If you love connecting brands with communities, thrive on building new business, and want your work to directly impact 110,000+ youth athletes across Minnesota — this is your role.

What You’ll Do
  • Prospect & close new sponsorship/partnership deals
  • Build & manage a pipeline of local, regional & national brands
  • Develop customized multi-asset partnership packages
  • Retain & grow existing partner relationships year-over-year
  • Advance the MYAS Community Impact Fund
  • Represent MYAS at events and in the community
  • Track activity and results through CRM systems
  • Competitive base salary + performance bonuses
  • Commission on sponsorship revenue
  • Medical, dental & company-paid life insurance + LTD
  • SIMPLE IRA with 3% company match
  • Longevity bonus (1.75–4%) + Team Rewards (up to $3,000)
  • Cell/internet reimbursement ($1,800/year)
  • Optional Tournament Director pay at $30/hr
  • 4+ years in sponsorship sales, business development, or fundraising
  • Proven track record generating new business & retaining clients
  • Strong presentation, negotiation & relationship skills
  • CRM experience and strong organizational abilities
  • Availability for evenings/weekends as needed
  • Passion for youth sports and community impact
  • Preferred: Sports/nonprofit sales background & existing MN network

You won’t be selling a single event or venue. You’ll represent the most comprehensive youth sports portfolio in the Midwest — and every partnership you close directly funds programs, scholarships, and opportunities for young athletes across Minnesota.

  • Spring Lake Park, MN (on-site, not remote)
  • Mon–Fri, 8 a.m.–4 p.m. | 37.5 hrs/week minimum
