Welcome to the 2026 GSFL Referee Hub
The Gopher State Football League (GSFL) is the home of certified football officials. In 2025 we served more than 150 officials, 32 youth associations, 182 teams, and officiated over 750 games in a 49-day regular season for tackle football grades 2-8.
The GSFL season in 2026 will run from August 28th thru October 11th with the regular season ending on October 4th followed by a bowl game for all grade 2 – 4 teams the weekend of October 10-11th . As of August 5th there are 169 teams and 725 plus games to officiate in the proposed 45-day season.
New in 2026 will be tiered playoffs for grade 5-8 the week of October 5th – October 11th based on the number of teams by grade level. Hopefully all teams will get a weeknight game followed by a weekend final. Our goal is to create a tier structure that creates competitive match ups to end the season .

Connect With an Assignor
All games will be assigned by a league assignor. No referee will be paid to work a game if GSFL Certification is not completed.
