GSTC 2026 Respect the Game Award Winners Announced

At MYAS, our events are built on more than competition. They’re built on a commitment to safe, respectful, and positive environments for every athlete, coach, official, and spectator.
MYAS has partnered with Saint City Saint City Consulting, to further its commitment and goal of providing a safe, positive, and productive experience for Minnesota’s youth athletes.
The MYAS Respect the Game Award supports this mission by recognizing teams that consistently demonstrated these values at the 2026 Gopher State Tournament of Champions.
Following each game, umpires were asked to mark “yes” or “no” for each team based on their conduct. Elite Associations recorded a perfect 100% for all participating teams. Gold Associations achieved a rating of 90% or higher.
For GSTC 2026, we are proud to announce that 79% of our participating associations qualified for the Elite or Gold Respect the Game Award! We hope that number will grow even more next year.
We appreciate all the players, coaches, and fans who “played their role” to achieve this recognition. Thank you for your dedicated commitment to positive sportsmanship!
