  2. Scheduling a Pool to Bracket event Imagine you want to organize two pool games and then seed teams into a single-elimination bracket. To achieve this, start by creating a pool round. Subsequently, create an additional bracket round. Once results for the pool games are entered, you can seamlessly advance teams from the pool to the bracket. Refer to the section below ‘Advancing Teams from a Pool Round to a Bracket Round’ for detailed instructions on this process.”
  3. Entering Pool Game Scores The optimal method for recording pool game scores is through the “Big Picture” tab. Simply select the game, and a score module will pop up.
  4. Entering Bracket Game Scores For scoring in a bracket, a user with score entry clearance can click the game number on the bracket to access the same score module. After entering and saving the score, the system will automatically progress the teams through the bracket.
  5. Advancing teams from a Pool round to a Bracket round To transition teams from the pool to the bracket, navigate to the “Schedule” tab, choose your division and pool round. Scroll to the bottom and click on “Pool Standings.” Once all results are inputted, use the “Push teams from Pool to Bracket Button.”
  6. Have you provided your staff clearance? Utilize the “Staff” tab to grant individuals clearance for various aspects of your event. It’s a straightforward process: input the email address, select the desired clearance for that user, and an email will be sent to guide them on the steps needed to obtain the access.
  7. Release Schedule To make your schedule available to the public, follow these two steps: A) Find the “Schedule Fee” tab and pay the schedule release fee. B) Visit the “Overview” tab, click on the hamburger icon next to “Event Details,” bringing up a menu of options. Select “Release all Schedules.”
  8. Seeding from Pool into Bracket look Funky? One prevalent mistake in scheduling is related to bracket setup. When configuring your bracket, you choose a filter to display the teams’ names on the bracket, either as overall seeds or, for instance, “Pool A 1st Place.” Once you’ve selected the “Pool/Place” filter, proceed to pick the teams for your bracket. It’s crucial to click on “Pool Seed” (after you have selected the team names) to ensure the proper matchups in the bracket.
  9. Schedule clearance is required to advance teams from a Pool round to a Bracket round Important notice: Individuals granted score entry permissions by event staff do not possess the authority to push teams from the pool to the bracket. To empower your scorekeepers with this capability, it’s necessary to grant them schedule clearance. Keep this in mind when assigning roles and permissions.
  10. Pushed Pool teams to Bracket prematurely No problem at all. Make the necessary adjustment to the pool games, and the system will automatically update the pool standings. Afterward, feel free to click “Push Teams From Pool To Bracket” as many times as needed, and it will overwrite the team names on the bracket accordingly.
  11. Pushed Pool teams but now I want the original Bracket teams names restored No worries. Navigate to the Bracket round, and you’ll find an orange button labeled “” Clicking this button will restore your team names to their previous state before you pushed the teams.
  12. To replace a withdrawn team, follow these steps: Note: that the system won’t permit the removal of a team from the division via the “Teams” tab if the team still has scheduled games in the event.
    • Add the new team to the division through the “Teams” tab by selecting the division and clicking “Add Team.”
    • Navigate to the “Schedule” tab, choose your division and the specific round requiring substitution.
    • Access either the “Pool Games” or “Brackets Games” accordion, depending on whether the substitution is for a pool or bracket.
    • Utilize the second option displayed, featuring “Team Out” and “Team In,” along with the “Substitute” button. Select the relevant teams and confirm the substitution by clicking the button.
  13. A team dropped after my pool schedule was released Note: that the system won’t permit the removal of a team from the division via the “Teams” tab if the team still has scheduled games in the event. You have two options.
    • Option 1: Go to the “Pool Games” section, remove the team, which will exclude them from the pool and eliminate any scheduled games. Then, access the schedule grid, right-click on any cell, and add a new game by selecting opponents. OR
    • Option 2: Alternatively, access the schedule grid first, modify the games for the team you’re dropping. This may help you determine the new matchups needed. Subsequently, go to the “Pool Games” section and remove the team from the pool.
